Last three weeks was struggling to see how several digital preservation tools work. Tried installing ACE, BagIT, Archivist Toolkit, Xena, Archivematica, Digital Preservation Software Platform, SleuthKit, Checksum Checker, JHOVE, FITS, DROID, Bioscuri, Web Curator Tool, Xarch, EMET etc.
For last two days was struggling with Archivematica. Archivematica works only with Ubuntu 12.04. I tried installing it on virtual machine but struggled with its Archrival Toolkit Upload option configuration. Still trying to see how to configure it. I tried atom as well as upload DIP but both still did nt work and gave access errors. Archivematica combines several tools in built such as clamav, bagit, archivist toolkit etc.
